August 5, 2024Southern Texas PGA

SPICEWOOD, TEXAS (August 4, 2024) The inaugural Insperity Invitational Tour Championship hosted by the Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour will be played over the next two days of August 5-6 at Barton Creek Country Club (Lakeside) in Spicewood, Texas. This new event was announced last year to reward the success of the many junior golfers on the Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour throughout the year and bring the best of the best together!

The 57-player field consists of 32 Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour winners and 11 college commits. The STPGA encourages college coaches to come out and experience a deep field on both the boys and girls side of the tournament.
In order to play in this event, players received invitations based on their tournament wins on the Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour, their standings on the Insperity Invitational Points List, or special invitations.

With the connection between the Srixon Billiard Factory Prestige Tour and Legends Junior Tour, the players will be competing for more than just the opportunity to call themselves Tour Champions. The boys and girls winner will each earn Fully Exempt Status on the Legends Junior Tour starting in September and running through next summer!

This Arnold Palmer design sits on a secluded hillside above Lake Travis, rewarding golfers with striking, panoramic views of the Hill Country and lake. The course has a variety of water features, bunkers and elevation changes. Hole #11 is consistently ranked among the most beautiful holes in Texas. The club has been the venue for several prestigious tournaments, including the PGA Professional National Championship, the U.S. Senior Women’s Open, and multiple PGA of America Championships.

The STPGA would like to thank our title sponsor, the Insperity Invitational, as they continue to demonstrate their devotion to growing the game of golf in Southern Texas and being more than just the best event on PGA TOUR Champions! We would like to thank Head Professional Casey Neal and his entire team at Barton Creek Country Club for allowing us to give our players this once in a lifetime opportunity!

We also want to thank the title partners of the Prestige Tour, Srixon and Billiard Factory, as no event would be possible without them!
