Lake Charles, LA (March 22-23, 2025) - This past weekend the Srixon Prestige Tour made its way to Lake Charles, LA to host the Visit Lake Charles Spring Classic in collaboration with the Louisiana Junior Golf Tour. LJGT Champion title holder Vivian Volion earned her first career Prestige Tour victory , while Daniel Rice secured his third Prestige Tour win!
Vivian Volion Earns Her First Prestige Tour Title
Vivian Volion of Springfield, LA captured her first ever Prestige Tour win despite being no stranger to victory on the Louisiana Junior Golf Tour having multiple victories and championship title under her belt. Volion started off strong shooting a 71 (E) during round one and then rounding out the weekend carding a 72 (+1) during round two, leaving her with a tournament total of 143 (+1). She lived up to her accomplished LJGT career to bring home her first Srixon Prestige Tour victory!
Daniel Rice Secures His Third Prestige Tour Victory
Daniel Rice from Magnolia, TX, delivered a strong performance to secure his third Prestige Tour win at the Visit Lake Charles Spring Classic. He opened with an impressive (-2) 69 in the first round and followed it up with an (+1) 72 in the second, finishing with a tournament total of 141 (-1). With this victory, Rice earned himself a spot on #TeamSTPGA at the inaugural Bayou Cup this December!
