The Southern Texas PGA is excited to host a new team event against the state of Louisiana starting this year. The Bayou Cup presented by Srixon will be a team event featuring the top 12 junior golfers from both the Southern Texas PGA and Louisiana Junior Golf Tour and will be played at Big Easy Ranch in Columbus, TX on December 5-7, 2025.
2025 Dates & Location
Set to take place on December 5-7, 2025 the inaugural Bayou Cup will be held at the picturesque Big Easy Ranch. This exciting new event promises to be a memorable experience for all participants. Known for its stunning views and exceptional layout, Big Easy Ranch provides the perfect backdrop for the first annual competition between the Southern Texas PGA and Louisiana Junior Golf Tour. In just a few short years, Big Easy Ranch has quickly become one of the top destinations for the finest sporting, hunting and golf amenities. The highly anticipated opening of The Covey, the 18-hole championship golf course, took place in March of 2023 and in its first year, it was ranked as #1 new and #10 top overall golf course by The Dallas Morning News in the state of Texas.
The event will highlight the area's rich golfing tradition and offer an unmatched opportunity for young players to showcase their skills in a match play format. With its excellent facilities and commitment to the growth of junior golf, Big Easy Ranch will deliver a world-class experience for everyone involved.
