The Bayou Cup Matches is an annual competition between the Southern Texas PGA and Louisiana Junior Golf Tour held for the first time in 2025. Presented by Srixon and Adidas, this Ryder Cup-style event features the top 12 junior golfers from each Tour and is hosted at Big Easy Ranch in Columbus, TX.

The inaugural Bayou Cup matches took place on December 5-7, 2025 at the picturesque Big Easy Ranch and proved to be a memorable experience for all participants. Known for its stunning views and exceptional layout, Big Easy Ranch provides the perfect backdrop for the annual competition between the Southern Texas PGA and Louisiana Junior Golf Tour. In just a few short years, Big Easy Ranch has quickly become one of the top destinations for the finest sporting, hunting and golf amenities. The highly anticipated opening of The Covey, the 18-hole championship golf course, took place in March of 2023 and in its first year, it was ranked as #1 new and #10 top overall golf course by The Dallas Morning News in the state of Texas.
The event highlighted the area's rich golfing tradition and offered an unmatched opportunity for young players to showcase their skills in a match play format. Congratulations to the Louisiana Junior Golf team for winning the Cup at the 1st Annual Bayou Cup Matches on December 5-7 at Big Easy Ranch. The final score was LJGT 15 - STPGA 9.
